Big 25 Early Antique German Interesting China Doll pink Tint Great Hairdo 1840s
Unusual and big early german china doll from about 1840s-1850s. The head measures about 6″ in height and 6″ in width from shoulder to shoulder. The porcelain head for itself is in perfect condition, no chips, no hairlines , no breakes and no restorations at all. There are several tiny black fleabites all over, which are as mades from firing and are typical by that early porcelain. The teint is lightly pink tinted. The two lower china arms seem to be a little different in size, not sure, if it came like that. Her face expression is very decent and elegant , in her hair there is a white center part line and the hairdo is different and very well done. The body has several age wear and a few little open seem areas but will be ok with a little love and help from a knowing hand. She comes with four pieces of antique clothing. She wears a very good looking original antique white Biedermeier dress , which also needs some TLC at the seems, the edges of the arms and the hooks at the back. The underwear has also several age wear, but everything is old. The brooch (not sure about the material) comes with her as a benefit. The total height of the doll is about 25.
