Very Rare Antique French Bisque Doll Sfbj #262

WONDERFUL CHARACTER – Circa: 1920 – SFBJ #262. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. What a whale of a doll. Harpoon this one soon before he sails away! This very rare doll is 15 inches tall. It is marked very well – “25 France SFBJ 262 Paris 6″ – (see photo). It was made around the 1920′s during the’art series’ by SFBJ. He has brown sleep eyes and with an open mouth with two upper teeth. He has most of his original eye lashes remaining. The bisque head does not have any hairlines or cracks or repainting as examined by a black light. He has a wonderful original finish toddler body. There is one very tiny vertical crack in the right leg. I love the thin fingers of these dolls – so realistic. He wears: antique leather shoes and brown socks; newer underpants; white bib; darling sailor suit; original cork pate with original wig; and labeled “Pegoud” sailor hat. Wonderful Antique German Christian Hacker Dollhouse Dolls’ House Puppenhaus

A truly wonderful antique Christian Hacker dolls’ house in remarkable unrestored condition. Dating to around 1900 this beautiful house has five rooms over three floors, a conservatory and an attic space. Apart from a couple of existing repairs, (replacement window trim and two headers), the house has been left in incredible original condition it has retained its fantastic original paintwork, lithographic papers and almost all of its original architectural features. Some visible wear and tear to the external lithographic papers please see photos. Internally the house retains all of its original floor and wall papers and shows a remarkable level of preservation. Number 1262 3/4/6 handwritten in ink to the base and a handwritten pencil mark possibly a number 4 or an H partially obscured by central base strut. Overall the house is in very good antique condition, please note the following. The conservatory is shown in situ but requires reattachment and repair as does the chimney stack. The internal access door to the conservatory and the 1st floor balcony door need to be reattached. Two of the three staircases and the internal balustrades are detached. The house retains some of its original glass and included will be one partial piece of original conservatory glass which would aid with restoration. House measures approximately 83cms or 32 1/2 ” in height, and base board measures 45cms x 84cms or 17 3/4 ” x 33. The most delightful dolly des res fresh to the market from a Scottish Estate sale. SALE 27 Simon Halbig 1078 Antique German Bisque Head Doll Exquisite Costume

Welcome to BonnieLin Antique Dolls. This wonderful Antique German, Bisque Head doll is 27 tall made by the Simon & Halbig Co.. She is mold 1078. Simon & Halbig is well known for their high quality and painting perfection. She has a beautiful child like face and is on her original 15 piece wood & composition body. She wears an incredibly beautiful, silk costume made by a professional seamstress from the 1990s. It includes a matching, elaborate bonnet, purse, and satin full slip lined with netting to puff the skirt out and pantaloons. Her bisque socket head has NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs. The painted and molded features are expertly done. She has lovely big blue glass sleep eyes that work well, with painted upper and lower lashes. Most of the wax has flaked off of the eye balls, only noticeable when in sleep position. Brows are molded and raised, painted in delicate, feathered strokes. She has pierced ears and will come with antique pink crystal earrings. Her open mouth is shaded and outlined in soft pink with four upper teeth. There are matching, well placed pink dots in the nostrils and inner eye corners and she has a lightly dimpled chin. Her complexion is soft and creamy with nicely blushed cheeks with no rubs. She has her original antique 15 piece turned wood & composition body, fully jointed. It is in very nice condition with a few minor touch ups and has the original nice shiny finish. All fingers are original and retain the red nail outlining. Her costume was hand made in the 90s by professional doll dress seamstress’Anna’ of pure pink silk with scalloped lace trimmed hem, bodice, sleeves and neckline. It is adorned with pink rose buds and beads at the neck, bodice, cuffs and waist. It has a puffed front has, long curled pink ribbon flowing from each rose bud. The matching bonnet has a wired brim so can be adjusted to fit nicely. It is adorned with the same trim as the dress plus feathers and has a big puffed top. The satin full slip has attached netting so the dress puffs out nicely and satin pantaloons were also made to match. Her stockings and shoes are replacements. Her lovely auburn, replacement mohair wig falls to her waist in back and is in great condition. It was also hand made by a professional wig maker. MARKED : 1078 (incised on back of head).
