Antique Simon Halbig 949 closed mouth version with earlier solid crown and 3 holes on original bisque shoulder plate also marked Simon Halbig 949 with Long human hair wig pierced ears and brown stationary eyes. Circumference of the head measures 9 1/4 inches and the height is 6 inches. Size 10 is marked on the head between the S and the H. Both head and shoulderplate are without damage or restoration. Vintage German Porcelain Pincushion Half Doll Liquidation Girl Holding Cat

This item is from my personal collection of beautiful half dolls. All the dolls in this collection are genuine, antique, vintage dolls. It is time to find new homes and new caretakers for these unusual, hard-to-find, rare, porcelain half dolls. Welcome to my auctions. From Pauline’s collection. Young girl half doll presentation. This is an extremely rare and desirable half doll and a cat-lover’s “must-have” item. This young girl is cradling her small kitty in her arms. The cat and his little mistress both have loving expressions on their faces as the kitty snuggles its head against the little girl’s cheek. What is so appealing about this half doll is that it artistically captures the special bond between animal lovers and their pets. Beautifully designed and executed, the little girl’s hands and arms are molded to surround and support the precious animal she holds. Her blond hair is styled in child-like waves and ringlets tied with purple bows. Her dress has a purple bodice with large white shawl collar and a green insert in the front. This rare, appealing half doll is mounted on a large heavy pincushion that a previous owner covered with a silk overskirt. Huge velvet flowers are appliqued over and around the skirt. Age has taken its toll on the fragile silk fabric, and it is tattered now. The appliqued flowers are in good condition. This original presentation is still intact and a fabulous, very rare find… And, as a cat lover, this has been the absolute favorite of my half doll collection. Maker: Muller & Company, Germany. Here is an antique and hauntingly beautiful Sonneberg 136 bebe doll in rare large size about 24. Head is marked 136 and size (see photos) on back of her head. Bisque head is free from damage and repairs. She has large blue eyes and pouty mouth with a white line between lips. Her large size is enhanced by her large marked early and chunky fixed wrist Jumeau body. Human hai r golden blonde hand knotted antique wig was originally braided but I took it dow and restyled it. Hair is down to her knees! She wears a frail pink silk antique dress, undies, and antique socks and shoes. Shoes are frail and split in a few places. She has a little bit of baby fat under her chin. She has her original human hair brown wig. He composition body is nice. She is missing one of her thumbs but hard to notice since hands are so small. Her outfit is original with bonnet, slip and fantastic lined crocheted dress. Included is a small wood trunk that the original owner used to store this little treasure. Up for your consideration–An antique German bisque head doll by Kley & Hahn Walkure. She has working gorgeous blue glass sleep eyes, with. Both upper and lower painted lashes; feathered and textured brows; lightly blushed cheeks; accented eye corners and nostrils; red lips with open mouth. Nice bisque socket head free of hair lines and no repairs–there is a scratch or manufactured flaw, it is between her right eye and. Her eyebrow, it does not go through to the inside of the head, thus not a crack or hairline. Her head is on a marked original fully jointed German antique doll body. All fingers and toes accounted for (with noted chipping to one pinkie finger). Her body does show normal wear from age and usage, with some comp. Chipping noted under one arm and repair noted to a shoulder neck are of body. Body is a large and sturdy body that does need restringing. With a nice full brown synthetic wig. The wig is in nice condition and looks lovely on her, very nice style. A large girl of 28 inches that is in need of a new. This is a lovely harder to find mold number antique doll, that would make a wonderful addition to your collection. Get her today, give her a new. 8 1/2Antique Early Kestner Doll Jointed Closed Mouth Composition Body. This doll is unmarked lending to believe she is a very early example. She measures approximately 8 1/2 standing. I will give you the limited history I was told when I acquired her. She was acquired from a woman in Nashville, TN who is in her 70′s. She was moving out of state and this doll was her grandmother’s doll. She stated the dolls clothes and shoes are original and the only alteration she made for the doll was the crown she made for her hair out of gold knit material. Her composition joints are tight and looking closely at the doll, it appears at some time in her life, she was restrung nicely. She is wearing her original honey blonde human hair wig. Looking inside her head she has old paper inside to keep her brown glass sleep eyes open and prevent her weight from damaging her beautiful bisque head. Her bisque head is in excellent condition. No cracks or chips. Face paint is Kestner perfection. Her jointed body shows some joint wear and the left upper leg is missing a piece of composition where the ball of the hip would be. She is wearing a white matching flower design lace trim dress set that consists of the dress, slip, and bloomers. The dress has intricate detail and scalloped edges. No stains on the dress. It does have a little tear at the waist area (see photos) and a few little holes in the back. She is wearing dainty delicate leather shoes that are incised 3 or 8/0 on the bottom of each shoe. She is also wearing a lovely beaded necklace. I have kept her displayed under a glass dome. She is the perfect cabinet size doll and a fantastic addition to your doll collection. However, I will describe each item as best and as honestly as possible, as well as provide photos for your review. Rare Antique German Kestner French Type Bisque Turned Head Character Doll marked G w/Florodora original Body. Gorgeous antique 13 tall Girl Doll by Kestner. Letter G on the back of her head. She has beautiful blue eyes; small chip to her right eyelid. Sleeping mechanism is working. Open mouth, painted feathered eyebrows, painted upper and lower lashes. Rare turned head character. Her shoulder plate is broken on the right side and repaired/glued together which is not noticeable under her dress (please see pictures). She has an original mohair wig and is wearing a flower and bead headband (new). Her body is leather; marked with Florodora stamp on her chest. Her leather kid body in good antique condition as picturedHalf of the forearms are porcelain. Legs below her knees are stuffed cloth (some stains are present). She is dressed in beautiful antique dress decorated with pink ribbon (few holes to both sleeves), underskirt. Her shoes are new. Additional photos could be provided upon request.
