All Bisque DOLL Our Golden Three 1913 Gebruder Heubach Girl. This darling 8-1/2 antique doll has a one-piece bisque head and torso; sculpted, short bobbed brown hair and bangs, wearing a glazed orange headband; brown, intaglio side-glancing eyes with white eye dots; short light brown eyebrows that match her hair color; red accented nostrils and eye dots; the cutest mouth with a opened smile exposing four tiny white teeth, having a very saucy expression. Her bisque arms and legs are loop-jointed bisque. She wears painted white ribbed socks and light brown Mary Jane shoes with sculpted brown bows. Back is incised with 10499 over 3. This little sweetie was one of a trio of dolls introduced by the Heubach firm in 1913 as “Our Golden Three”. She is simply a lovely, chunky gal! I have not attempted to clean her and perhaps her strings could use a tightening – however she still displays exceptionally well and I just love her! These darling little 8.5 Heubachs rarely come up for sale, so dont miss out on this one.. 8 1/2 22 cm.
