13 6 1303 DEP S & H Female adult character doll with stationary brown eyes, closed mouth, pierced ears, light brown mohair wig. Back of head is also marked (red stamp in oval) WIMPERN GESETZL GESCHUIZT. Unmarked French type papier mache jointed body. Dressed in black, she is wearing a long gown with lace trim (peach sash), silk tafetta petticoat, wool felt hat. White cotton petticoat, pantaloons. All of my items are from a non-smoking home. Here we are offering a 17 inch tall antique German Kestner doll. She has brown sleep eyes, and a brunette synthetic wig. Her head is free from any cracks, breaks, or repairs, see pics. Her left eyelid at the top inner corner appears to have a minute eye flake. It’s so small that I could only see it with a magnifying glass, so you may not be able to see it in the pics very well. It looks like they may have missed a bit of paint. It’s so small. She is wearing a peach satin dress, and cotton u drew ear, see pics. The dress has a little hole in the front. Her body is marked with the red Kestner stamp, see pics. She is a size 1 body, and her head mold is number 129. The stand is not included. Feel free to ask any questions, and thank you for looking. She is 10 inches tall with a very pretty face, working blue sleep eyes, painted upper & lower lashes, and an open mouth with 4 upper teeth. She is on a 5 piece antique German composition body. She has a small hairline across her right eyebrow – see photo. No other damage to her bisque noted. Her body has some areas of repaint. Marked on back of head: S & H 1249 3. Antique 24-Inch AM Queen Louise Doll with Mohair Wig & Great Outfit

We’d like to present to you a large girl all ready dressed up to go walking with you on a snowy day! She is an Armand Marseille “Queen Louise” bisque doll head with gorgeous blue paperweight glass eyes and an antique black mohair wig done up in sausage curls, arranged all around her head and reach just to her shoulders. She has a side part and little strands have “escaped” making her look so sweet. Her bisque is perfect and she is on a papier mache BJD body which had been finished in an “antiqued” finish when we got the doll. It is something a bit different so we thought we leave it “as is, ” since we have no experience working in this medium and we decided we kinda liked it after all! Our little lady is wearing off-white tights and white pantalettes with newly tightened elastic. You will notice she has her snow boots on! She is wearing a delicate white dress with a bib of the palest is it purple? Hue that matches the darker shade of the coat. Along the bottom of the dress, the is pretty ribbon in the same color trimming the hem of the dress. Now, we are still arguing whether this coat is lavender, rose, pale purple, pink, or some newly invented color–all we know is that it is very pretty especially with the fake lamb-skin trim at the collar, cuffs, hat, bag, and the ties of the hat. She carries a matching purse to stash all her emergency items and her hat is snugly and warm for being out in the cold. We did mention those boots which are laced up and ready to go. Whether you have her dressed for the weather or sans coat, and just in her pretty dress, ready to sip eggnog close to the fire, your Queen Louise is ready to go! Antique Kestner 154 German bisque doll with kid leather body. Measures approximately 25 inches long. Incised on the back of the head with: 154 dep: 8 3/4 D (illegible number) Made in Germany. She has a bisque shoulderplate with blue glass sleep eyes. Painted upper and lower lashes with multi-stroke painted brows above. Open mouth with four upper teeth. She has a kid leather body with bisque lower arms and hands, fabric lower legs and feet. Paper label remnant on the chest. Riveted joints as shown. She is wearing a vintage replacement gown, replaced cotton and lace undergarments and antique black socks. She is wearing her antique mohair wig and her plaster pate is glued into place. She does need work to her body but she displays beautifully. From a long time collector and former UFDC doll club president’s estate. Bisque head and arms/hands have no hairlines or chips, surface scratch at the back of the head behind one ear, soiled from long time storage, head needs to be more firmly attached to the body, upper arms have crude repairs as shown, leather body is supple with no leakage, clothing does have some holes/tears, needs cleaning, no shoes, original wig is somewhat sparse, plaster pate has a hole cut in the middle, eyes reset to sleep/work, Dress is not antique, no doll stand or other accessories – if not shown.
