ANTIQUE 10 1/2 HALBIG KR BISQUE HEAD FLAPPER DOLL With TWO STRAP SHOES
Lovely antique 10 1/2 Halbig KR bisque head doll with peg jointed flapper body. She has blue open/close eyes and her original blonde wig with soft curls. Her beautiful pale pink pleated dress has lace trim at the cuffs (loose lace on one cuff), waist and collar. She has painted black socks and brown two-strap shoes. A circle pin with rhinestones adds an extra touch. Faint hairline above left eyebrow only seen when lighted. There is a small spot of plaster on back of neck but no damage in that area. Left forefinger may have been repaired and possible paint touch-up. No other chips, cracks or repairs. Her head, arms and legs are articulated. Stand is not included. Antique RARE 1279 Simon & Halbig 20 Character Doll with Dimples
This is a Antique RARE fabulous 1279 Simon & Halbig 20Character Doll with cute dimples. She has a very distinct and different face. The detail to her character face is striking. Again she is 20inches tall and marked on back of head S & H 1279 DEP Germany 8 1/2. There is some glue residue in the incised wording on back of head. She was made in 1909. She has smooth creamy bisque with no cracks or hairlines. Her coloring is excellent and the detail to her nose and big dimples is stunning. She has a very different look and a plus to any ones collection. She has blue sleep eyes , that work perfectly, and have been re-set. Her painted eyelashes around her eyes are perfect, including her feathered eyebrows , and pierced ears, with a normal tiny chip in the left pierced ear. Her rose shaded lips are outlined and beautiful. She has 4 upper porcelain teeth and dimples. Her antique pate and antique long dark blonde wig fits her perfectly. Her wood jointed and composition body is in excellent condition with tips of toes repainted. Her hands and fingers are very nice with only some small paint wear on tips of fingers on right hand. Her white pantaloons, slip and dress are antique. The dress is a pale green with lace, and a matching bonnet. Her shoes are antique brown leather with white socks. Kley & Hahn Special 65 (cm) 25 Bisque Doll Antique Chubby Cheek Dolly Face
She is marked Special 65 Germany on the back of her neck. She stands approximately 24 1/2. Her Bisque Socket head does not have any chips, cracks or hairlines. It is set in a shallow way onto the opening of the body so you can clearly see her long neck. The stringing on her head is a bit looser than I would like but it can still be posed in multiple ways. She has working blue sleep eyes with real and painted lashes and feathered brows. She has an open mouth with 4 rounded teeth and accented lip paint. There is a spot of missed or rubbed paint on the left side of her neck. I do not see any damage to her body other than typical aging and a repaint to her lower limbs. She comes wearing the clothing shown which includes a lovely eyelet lace / embroidered dress, pantaloons and an undershirt. The underwear has some damage, a hole in the undershirt and some small brown spots on the pantaloons. She also comes with modern shoes and socks. She has an unattached sandy blonde mohair wig and cardboard pate. This sweetheart puts me in mind of a gangly 10 year old girl who still retains her baby face even though her body is changing to be more ladylike, which I think makes her stand out from other dolly face dolls that are chunky all over. Antique German 5.5 Gebruder Kuhnlenz 44/14 All Bisque Mignonette Doll Blonde
Cute and unusual 5.5 Gebruder Kuhnlenz Doll bought from a dealer in Europe. She is in overall good condition but has some chipping on the underside of her fingers. I cannot remove her dress as its sewn on. I believe her dress is original because the lace and ribbon appear to be old. Her wig is either mohair or human hair and Im not sure if its a replacement.
