Antique 17 Flirty Eyed Kammer & Reinhardt Doll With a 117n Simon Halbig Head. I’m calling this doll a 117n, BUT there is NOT a mold mark on back of head. This little girl is stunning with absolutely no damage to head. The back of the head is incised with Simon Halbig K star R and 43cm. On her upper forehead is incised a small W, with artists mark in red of what looks like 19. The body is perfect except for a small paint chip at top of left shoulder. I took a picture of a 117n head in a doll Blue Book and included it in my pictures (#9). You will have to decide if I’m right or wrong. This doll looks like it was made early from the mold, because all features are very sharp. The flirty sleep eye mechanism, works like the day it was made. Her face is gorgeous with no rubs at all. She has brushed and feathered eye brows, and perfect finely brushed stroked upper and lower eyelashes. She has an open mouth with 4 glass upper teeth, and a beautiful smile. Her nostrils are accented and her rosy heart shaped lips are beautiful. Her ears are pierced. Her lovely golden brown human hair wig is long and very nice. Her dress is an off white with green stripes and a green bow along with a green bonnet. Her slip and pantaloons are vintage, as is her white socks and red oil cloth shoes.
