LL-2 Antique doll F GBEBE bisque withleather body orig. Clothing & wig 13

This is an antique FG BEBE bisque/leather body doll with original clothing, shoes and mohair wig. She has a bisque swivel head on a shoulder plate; set-in eyes. Her hands are in good condition except for 2 leather fingers on one hand have separated slightly from the palm of the hand and there is a tear in the leather on the palm on the same hand. This could be replaced by someone knowledgeable about doll repair. Some of the photos show the damage to the shoulder plate. Just looking at her, she looks mint but unfortunately is not. Do not believe any repairs or changes have been done to her in the past. Her vintage original clothing has yellowed with age. She is missing her earrings. She is really a gorgeous doll despite her damage. I did not remove all her clothing and I did not remove her wig as I want to leave her as beautiful as she is without doing any more damage to her. Set of 7 Exquisite and Rare Antique German Doll House Dolls

Set of 7 Exquisite and Rare Antique German Bisque Doll House Dolls. All have their original clothing. They are in very good condition for their age. All are meticuluously dressed with fine details. The fabrics vary as some are dressed in felt, wool, cotton and velvet. Clothing is in good used condition for the age of the fabric. Conditions concerns are noted, but you can see the general condition from the photos. There are no chips or cracks or repairs. Dolls are mostly of the Victorian era and some in early 1900′s. Not played with and only on display in a framed shadow box from a smoke free home. Shadow box not included in the price, but if desired, please contact me. Included (in order of the individual photos) is an aristocratic gentleman, 6 1/4 inches tall, with a fancy cane and fake fur trimmed coat. Also a beautifully refined and very well-dressed lady who is 7 inches tall. I’ve never seen a doll house doll so lovely. Her legs are almost detached from her body which seems to be stuffed with sawdust due to the fragile body fabric (see additional photo). Also a bit of the delicate detailed embroidery on one sleeve has come loose, but only a small portion, The embroidery thread is still intact. Also included is a nurse. She has her original paper Red Cross Label on her collar. Her white apron is soiled by age, but all parts of her costume are intact, including her hat. There are a couple of holes in her striped dress, hard to see due to the dress pattern. Perhaps these are from a moth. There is a chauffeur, 6 1/4 inches tall, complete with brown painted leather gloves and leatherette boot tops. There is a maid, 6 1/4 inches tall. She is the only doll with a mohair wig. Her apron has a bit of deterioration, but truly good for it’s age and not very noticable. There is a butler who is 6 1/4 inches tall. He has arm garters and a nice belt beneath his apron. There is another gentleman who is 7 inches tall, dressed quite nicely and has a mustache. I have more detailed photos available if you are seriously interested that I can share with you. I will be putting more dolls and doll house items for sale in the next year, so please check back and see my other listings for collectibles. Stunning 17 Antique Pouty Kestner Bisque Doll

This is a stunning early 17 inch Kestner on her straight wrist loose ball joint body. She has a gorgeous sweet pouty expression on her beautifully painted face. Her head has no damage or repair. She has stunning pale blue sleep eyes and wears a beautiful replaced dress, antique bonnet and beautiful mohair wig. Her bisque is pale and creamy and sets off her light threaded blue eyes perfectly. She has delicately feathered brows, long dainty lashes, and expertly shaded closed mouth. Her body has no damage but does have some paint touch ups that are nicely done and match the original paint. She is strung well and will stand freely and pose. Her thick wavy blonde replacement mohair wig brings out her pale coloring and light eyes beautifully. Her pink dropped waist dress fits her as if it was made for her and the sweet pink bonnet is the finishing touch. She wears antique under clothes and socks, and vintage shoes. She is incised on the back of her head VII and she has her original plaster pate. Minor issues to note- She has several pepper marks on her bisque. Done in the making and not uncommon. Much more visible in the magnified photos. Her beautiful blue eyes sleep nicely and it does look like the eyelids have been touched up. Touch up paint to body. She makes a stunning presentation and is priced to sell. The head is free of damage or repair, she has the minor issues described above. She is cabinet-sized but at 17 inches she has beautiful modeling that can be lost on smaller dolls. Her bisque head has been backlit and has no chips, hairlines, or restoration. She has beautiful brown sleep eyes that retain their original wax. Her lips are beautifully shaped. Her torso has some issues with repaint and filler on the side and buttocks as well as a dent in her lower left leg as shown in the photos, She wears her original blond mohair hand-wefted wig. Her shoes, socks, and slip are antique. She wears an artist-made ice blue silk dress trimmed with ribbon and lace with a matching silk bonnet and vintage draw string underwear. SIMON & HALBIG, Mold 1249. Antique German Bisque Head Doll S&H 1249 Santa. She is an impressive 26 tall and so pretty. Gorgeous doll commissioned by Hamburger and Company from Simon & Halbig around 1910. She has dark brown glass sleep eyes, finely painted upper and lower lashes, mohair lashes, feathered brows, an open mouth with 4 upper teeth, blushed cheeks and a dimple in her chin. Her wig is an auburn human hair wig made in France, it is labeled. Fully marked on the back of her head. Her composition body is in very good condition for the age with no repaint and only minor wear at the joints. It has the red stamp “Germany” and size 5 1/2 on h er bottom see pic. Wearing a drop-waist dress with lots of lace trim, a beautifully made slip and pantaloons, black stockings and old black oil cloth shoes. The clothes are not original. Please view all photos, as they are an important part of the description. From my smoke-free, pet-free home, there are no offensive odors. This absolutely gorgeous doll is about 22 tall. She has lovely face with stationary eyes. The wig is original as well as the body. The arms of the doll are jointed. Fingers on the left hand are broken. The body has no holes or leaking but shows repairs that are also shown on the pictures. Some wear to the leather due to the age. The head is free of cracks, chips or hairlines. The doll is wearing 2 layers of petticoat and very nice dress that is adorned with French Limoges brooch. The doll has new socks but no shoes.
