The bisque head is of very fine quality and has beautiful blue sleep eyes. The doll is the perfect cabinet size! We are listing the doll at a very reasonable price because it has an eye chip repair to the upper right eye lid and a very miniscule paint skip on an eyelash on the lower left eye lid. The dolls head has no hairline cracks or other damage. The doll wears an antique mohair wig (cut short) over original Kestner plaster pate. The beautiful sailor outfit is old. The dolls body is signed, has repair to some of the fingers on the dolls left hand and the lower right leg piece has been replaced. Kestner Closed Mouth Pouty Doll featuring a bisque socket head with beautiful blue blown-glass sleep eyes, molded upper eye lids, very finely painted upper and lower eyelashes, dot accent at the inside of the eye lids, multi-stroke feathered eyebrows, extremely high detail to the modelling of the nose and mouth areas, accented nostrils, closed mouth with delicately shaded lips and darker accented line between the lips, modelled chin with dimple, molded ears, antique blonde mohair wig (cut short) over plaster-type pate (both wig and pate are thought to be original), and on a signed Kestner body with a replaced lower leg piece. It is very rare to find this model in this diminutive cabinet size! This beautiful Kestner wears an appealing sailor outfit and hat which is old. I cannot say if it is original or just old. It fits the doll perfectly. The doll wears dark socks and has no shoes. The bisque head features the finest quality of bisque with fine modelling, decoration, and painting. I have lighted the bisque head and there are no hairline cracks; however, there is an eye chip repair to the dolls upper right eye lid. There is also a very, very miniscule paint skip or flake on the fourth lash from the outer lower left eyelid. The body is signed and is in the original finish except some fingers on the dolls left hand have been repaired/repainted and the lower right leg piece has been replaced. 8 (incised on back of head just below the rim). 70685 Germany 0-1/2 (red stamp on back of body). The doll will be professionally packed in a new box (18 x 12 x 12) with reinforcement. Fabulous antique 26 Mein LEIBLING German bisque 117 CLOSED mouth KAMMER & REINHARDT doll, made by SIMON & HALBIG. This doll is an all original closed mouth character pouty child doll. Her face, with rosy cheeks and pouty lips is outstanding, with beautiful blue working sleep eyes. Facial composition has NO blemishes. Head has been lighted for hairlines , and NO damage were found. Head is engraved on back K R , Made by SIMON & HALBIG 117and 66 which is size number in MM or 26. Since she is a child doll her ears are not pierced. There is a little glue showing around crown of head but I will clean that off. This is just a wonderful modeling and a fine example of this desirable mold number. Her original toddler body is almost perfect with just a little moisture discoloration on back of leg calves. Very nice human hair wig. She is wearing an amazing outfit designed by Mary Lambeth. T he jacket measures 5.75″ from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, sleeves are 6″ long and outfit measures from top of shoulder to hem of skirt 15+” the green silk shoes are 3.5″ long. This outfit is made from old French faille material (material has ribs in it) in shades of green and tan. It was then trimmed in antique green and beige Irish lace and further enhanced with hand made silk ribbon flowers mixed with antique flowers. A large fabulous ostrich feather graces the French style bonnet along with antique lace on back of bonnet. This outfit comes with underwear, socks and pantaloons and matching green silk shoes. Vintage Amazing Green French Suit/Dress and Bonnet By Mary Lambeth. Mary says this came from her private collection. Antique German Bisque Doll With Open Mouth, Only Marked Made in Germany

Offered for sale is a 26 inch German bisque doll on a fully jointed composition body. It has sleeping brown eyes and an open mouth with teeth and a separate tongue. The eyebrows are well painted with extra detail. It is dressed nicely in pale pink cotton with a lot of tucks and lace insertion. The bonnet is bright pink taffeta with lace trim. It has new shoes and a new mohair wig. The body is marked Germany on the back of its hip. The only mark on the back of its head is. Made in Germany 136/11. The head is perfect with no damage nor no repairs. The body is also in very nice condition with its original paint and varnish, Only the hands have been repainted. It has a few chips near the joints and edges of feet and a stain on the chest. The underwear has rust stains but there is none on the dress. Aside from soiled underwear this is a very nice German Doll. It will take a larger box. Antique Jutta Doll 1914 Bisque Head 12 1/2 with Vintage Clothing + 1 more doll! First doll is a Jutta 1914 12 1/2 bisque head doll with partially open mouth and sleeping eyes. Doll is a bit dirty and has some broken fingers as you can see. The clothes are definitely old but I think might be baby clothes from that era, maybe a christening gown. Only issue with the doll you can’t see in the photos is the joints are a little loose and the paint on the eyelids has flaked a little. I’m pricing these cheap so they move fast. Lovely and rare 6 all bisque doll attributed to Kestner. Her artisan made costume is sewn on, but I have inspected her thigh line through her partially sheer pantaloons, and there is no damage there. That is where the damage is most commonly found on these antique all bisque dolls. She has an antique human hair wig, she is so pretty! This mold is uncommonly found and Darlene Lane made a reproduction of it some years back, but this is an antique doll. She is so pretty! The paint on the bisque is a little rough. This is visible on the photos. There is a short line on the chin that is most likely a hairline. No other imperfections to the bisque. Sleepy eyes work properly. The doll is missing eyelashes. Her beautiful human hair original wig is in good shape. The pate is glued to the wig. The composition parts are in overall good condition, however have some cracks and paint rub. There is a tiny chip to the top of one finger on the left hand. The stringing is good. The girl is wearing vintage underdress, which has holes. The handmade velvet dress is vintage as well. It is in great condition with possibly just minor imperfections. The doll is coming with newer shoes. She has no pantaloons. Please refer to the pictures for more details. No stand is included. Old doll factories in Thüringia Katzhütte, Limbach, Sonneberg, early 1900´s-, parts reassembled. Please look the pictures, thy are part of the description. I have depicted every item the best I can.
