Antique German Doll 32 Simon and Halbig 1079 on Ball Jointed Composition Body

Very Large 32 Antique German Doll, on Ball Jointed Composition Jointed Body. Incised on back of head is. S & H 1079. She wears a pink silk & lace dress, and a wire backed garland of flowers with bow on her head. She has her antique full slip with lace and 3 buttons on the back, and pantaloons. She is missing one middle finger, with one thumb is reattached on her left hand. She has pierced ears and a pair of earrings will be included. She has raised eyebrows, an open mouth with porcelain teeth, fixed brown eyes. Outlined lips, with red dots in nostrils. She has a lovely wig and pate. Her bisque head shows no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration. She has pink silk stockings, with shoes. This is a much sought after model 1079 due to the sweetness of the expression on her face. Especially hard to find is this nice large size of 32. Antique Handmade Lemonade Stand with 4 Black Dollhouse Dolls Unusual Folk Art

Their bodies are made of a bendable rubber, their shoes are metal and I believe their heads are made of hard rubber. 2 of the men have aprons painted onto their clothing. All of their hair is molded and painted black. The lemonade stand is made from wood and has a piece of painted canvas covering it, which looks like a table cloth. There are 3 small wooden barrels–one reads,’ice cold lemonade 10 cents,’ another says,’Hires root beer 10 cents’ and the last says,’pink lemonade 10 cents. On the front of the stand it reads’Get your cold drinks now and Peanuts Crackerjack pure. There is a hard, marbleized, rubber ball attached to the lemonade barrel. The cash register has a cardboard Coca Cola sign on it. This is a wonderful piece of folk art! Size: The woman doll is 5.5″ tall while the men are about 6″ tall (if they were straightened out). Condition: 2 dolls have crazing to their faces and one of those dolls has an indentation in its head. One doll is missing his hand and there is some pitting and cracks to the rubber bodies (all are stable). Clothing is a little dirty but has no holes or tears. The lemonade stand has some fading with green and white paint on the canvas cover, and the marbleized rubber ball is missing a piece from it. A Coca-Cola sign has been attached to the cash register with tape which has yellowed over time and the register looks like it may be missing a lever or two. Add me to your favorites! She has a bisque socket head, blue sleep eyes, original mohair eye lashes, short feathered brows, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, original blonde mohair wig and jointed wooden and composition ball jointed body. She has beautifully blushed cheeks. She is original with antique clothing. She is in remarkable condition for her age. She was made around 1909. She is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks to the head. There is some discoloration around one ball joint and some stains on her dress due to age. Amazing Kestner 28 inch child Antique Doll. Dome Head marked with made in Germany L. Body marked Germany 6. She has sleep brown eyes with open mouth and four teeth. Absolutely beautiful clothing with four layers, dress, slip, one piece underwear and half slip. The head piece matches the dark red satin dress with snap closures and also has beautiful lace details and a flower pin on front. Undergarments are beautiful vintage linen, one piece underwear, eyelet slip skirt and full linen slip with button closures. Shoes made in the Philippines and socks. Further reduced. Elegant Lady Doll, 24 Simon and Halbig 1159

This is an exceptional lady doll, stately at 24 inches, all in superb original condition. Marked Simon & Halbig 1159, from around 1910. She is truly elegant in her finery of black dress, big beautiful black cape, lace shawl, feathered hat, feather boa, and working parasol. I will gladly supply more pictures of the many details of the doll and her clothing. I have not found a comparable doll currently offered for sale. She has a bisque socket head that is tilt-able to create elegant poses. The lady has sleep eyes, a partly open mouth revealing 4 teeth. Her face is that of a young woman with beautiful coloring Her blue eyes have lovely painted lashes and feathery eyebrows. She has a composition jointed body, all in excellent condition. She has a lady bosom, and slender arms and waist. Her clothes are all original. Her dress has mutton sleeves and flares from the waist. Her long gloves are a silky fabric. The cape is beautiful! It has a sweeping expanse, a leaf design throughout. It is fairly heavy, lined in a lovely purple fabric, all hand sewn. The best is the ruffles at the collar, adorned with 9 beaded points of embellishment, see photo. Some wear along the edges of the cape, hardly noticeable. Her hat has rows of ruffles with a feather and bow at the back. It is wired to keep its shape. This lovely lady’s flaxen wig is original and in the style of 1910, poofed around her face, long in the back held in place by a hair clip. Note the gold hoop earrings and pearl necklace. Her gloves are in perfect condition. Her buckle shoes have heels and are kid glove. Her lacy stockings and cotton underclothes are all in excellent condition and original. The parasol has seen better days, but still works! When closed at her side it just adds authenticity to the age of the doll. This beautiful lady would be a fine addition to any sophisticated collection. The doll is from the estate of a long time collector. The item “Further reduced. 3 1/2 Tall Antique Closed mouth Kestner doll head and shoulder plate. Head is 3 1/2″ tall, shoulder plate is 3″ across and 1 7/8 from front to back of shoulder plate. The circumference of the head, as measured just above the ears is 6 1/2. The stationary brown eyes are in their original plaster set. Antique human hair wig and original Kestner pate. No cracks, chips or hairlines. This could either go on a Kestner kid body or the socket head alone could go on a Kestner composition body.
