Antique German 18 Simon Halbig SH 1079 Dep Bisque Head Doll

Here is adorable little girl. Sleepy eye mechanism works well. The doll has no painted upper eyelashes. The real eyelashes are most likely a replacement. The doll has small chips on the front of the pierced ears and one small chip on the back of the right ear. No other issues to the head. Besides the typical markings of this mold there is also a stamp on the back of the head. Beautiful wig of the doll is a replacement. The pate is original. The body looks more durable than usual wooden/composition body. It has minor wear that can be seen on the pictures. The doll is wearing 2-piece underwear and pretty, vintage dress that is stained. The stockings, shoes and the earrings are included. Please refer to the pictures for more details. No stand is included. 18 inch antique Santa doll, by Simon and Halbig, Stunning

What a gorgeous face! A pleasure to look at, so no wonder she has always been a favorite of collectors. She has perfect creamy bisque. Her sleep eyes are large and blue. Pretty open mouth with her signature dot in her lower lip. The doll is on her original ball jointed body that is in excellent condition but is missing one finger. She is beautifully dressed in a two piece outfit, a skirt with a drawstring waist and a pretty fitted jacket. On her feet are wonderful pink antique leather heeled shoes. Her wig is amazing! Long, full, and with lots of waves and curl. You will not be disappointed. She is marked on the back of head. Please look at all of the pictures and let me know if you need additional information. Beautiful Antique Kestner Letter L Bisque Doll 20

This is a beautiful antique doll made by Kestner. She is an early turned shoulderhead doll. Her bisque is incised L made in Germany on her lower shoulder plate. Her bisque head is free of chips or cracks. She has her original set blue eyes with an open mouth exposing tiny teeth. She has a plaster pate, securely attached to her head. Her vibrant peaches and cream complexion is beautiful and she has a pretty mouth with up turned corners, typical of Kestner dolls. Her wig is a replacement of synthetic fibers. She has bisque lower arms and hands in really good condition with no chips. She stands 20 inches tall. Her leather body has multiple old patches, especially on her legs. They are all intact with no leakage of saw dust. She wears a gorgeous antique hand made lady doll ensemble consisting of a pink full skirt decorated with velvet bows down the front, blue velvet back skirt and blue velvet jacket, cotton blouse, and a pink bustle. The jacket has hook eye closures down the front. The skirt closes with a snap. She would mke a striking addition to any collection. Some of my dolls have to go to new homes. Condition: White fabric and thread show discoloration from age. Some blue from the jacket has bled onto the white collar. No attempt has been made to remove the clothes but all visible porcelain is in good shape. Hair could use styling but maybe she just likes it that way. What a cutie pie! This is an adorable 13 inch Kestner 143 bisque head doll with a composition ball jointed body with the usual marking found on Kestner bodies. The head is marked as shown in photo. She is dressed in a vintage red and white dress with an antique slip/panties combo underneath. Her blond wig is original. She has new white socks and shoes. I have added a cute straw hat trimmed with a big red bow and a vintage gold-tone bracelet with faux emeralds. She has big brown open/close eyes and an open mouth with two teeth. Body is in very good condition. Condition of head: There is a tight hairline from outer corner of right eye across bridge of nose. Chip to upper right eyelid. Tight hairline extends from right eye through the right ear, across the back of the head and around left side under chin. Also tight hairline from left corner of mouth going up toward eye.
