Antique Dolls German

I have had this doll in my personal collection for 20 years and have kept her because I absolutely love her dress! My collection has evolved to other types of dolls, so she is ready to go to a new home where she will be greatly appreciated. 15 tall, she is a B P baby doll, made by the German Bahr and Proschild firm. They produced quality bisque head dolls along the lines of Kestner and Simon Halbig. This doll’s bisque head is without damage, including hairlines. Original blown glass brown sleep eyes with full lid wax. Multi-stroke eyebrows and lots of delicately painted eyelashes frame her eyes. Open mouth with two upper teeth. Her composition baby body retains the original finish and is strung nicely. Head is marked on the back “G B & Co” with Germany underneath. At the bottom of her neck, she has 620-8 incised. Full of laces and lots of pleats. A delicate pink silk wide ribbon around her high waist. Pale pink flowers with green leaves are adorned at her high waist. There is an attached slip underneath the dress that gives it lots of fullness. Under this she has another slip, pantaloons, booties and an undershirt. There is a dark stain on back of the dress and the lower button hole on the back has tears. She is just too adorable and all ready to display! International Buyers are responsible for custom charges.
