For sale is this antique 18.5 blonde hair, blue eyed German china or porcelain head doll with cloth body. I believe this doll is pre 1900 but has a dress that was made later around early 1900′s when it was handed down in the family. The doll has hand painted china arms, boots, and head but I could not find any maker’s mark. Any research will tell you that this is an antique German doll and not some modern fake or reproduction. The estate from which it came even has a photograph of a family member with this doll as early as 1920. Overall very good condition. Clothes are a little soiled and there is one very small chip to the glazing on the front side of the shoulder harness as you can see in the photo, but this is hidden by the dolls clothing and mentioned only for full accuracy of description.
