This very beautiful doll stands approximately 19 tall. The head looks like a very good reproduction with possibly original wig. The body including lower bisque arms is original antique body. It is in worn condition with some repairs. Left foot is glued. The body has currently no leaking, but possibly will need some additional care. The petticoat of the doll is antique. It is in worn condition. No stockings, shoes or other underwear to the doll. The dress is newer. She looks great in her pretty outfit. The dree is longer than the doll. Welcome To OUR Store. Today we would like to present One of many items from our shop. The doll is made by Madison Lee, I believe this doll is a reproduction of French Bru Doll from 1980 Ca+. Very beautiful doll with porcelain head, paperweight modern blue set eyes, bisque hands and legs. She has cloth body. Her head is attached to her cloth body with porcelain shoulder plate. I did not undress doll completely to disturb her beautiful costume. I don’t see any damages. She is in clean condition with no odor what so ever. Her dress is made of silky fabric, with beaded embroidery lace. She has a lace mauve jacket with beaded collar. Her bonnet is made of lace with liner and and have a wired brim. I don’t think photos give enough justice to this doll or her costume. Her costume is factory made and It is Gorgeous! Thank you so much for stopping by. This is an exceptionally nice large antique composition and wood jointed German Kestner Excelsior 7 doll body. It measures 25 inches and shows very little wear, no repairs. There is a small glaze chip at the neck area, best seen in the 9th photo. The current stringing feels okay. The neck opening is about 2 1/2 inches across. This adorable, happy doll is unmarked. Her metal head is well preserved, considering the age. There are paint touch ups to the shoulder head. Sleepy eyes if the doll seen to be glass eyes. The pate is not removable. Synthetic wig looks original or vintage replacement. Some wear to the wig. The shoulder plate is attached to the kid body. Looks like the body is possibly not original to the doll, or there possibly was repair. The connection of the head and the body is a little loose. There are some repairs to the body. All the holes are glued and there is no leaking to the doll. Damage to the bisque hands. Right arm is partially disconnected from the torso. The doll comes with pantaloons in worn condition and underdress. The socks and the shoes are included. Pretty dress is most likely not original. It is in overall good condition. No stand is included. Very sweet old doll. Her sleepy eyes are in working condition. They were reset and the plaster residue can be seen on the front of the eyes. It can be easily cleaned. The head has paint imperfections, wig pulls and glue/hair residue. No cracks, chips or hairlines. The wig is vintage synthetic replacement. The body shows light wear that can be seen on the photos. Lower bisque arms are not a high quality but have no damage. The doll is wearing vintage clothes in overall good condition. Matching the dress bonnet, stockings and shoes are included. Large 7 Labeled GOLD MEDAL GERMAN PAPIER MACHE DOLL SHOULDER HEAD ONLY 1860′s

She measures 7″ high x 6″ side to side x 3.5 opening front to back and has an intact oval paper label GOLD MEDAL NO. 3112 UNBREAKABLE and 4 sew holes. The doll has jet black painted short curly hair with white line center part, multiple brushed line accents along her front hairline and exposed ears and molded upper eyelid. She has painted multi-stroke thick black eye brows that extend well over her nose, black eyelid lines, pale red eyelid lines, painted lower lashes, black outlined blue eyes with large black pupils and white highlight dots blue eyes. Her lip rouge has faded, but red smile line remains. She has rosy well rounded cheeks and her molded ears are partially exposed. Her papier mache head is intact. She has light scuffs on her face paint, paint rubs and few small scattered flakes in her black hair paint travelling along a thin top surface only line on her left side. Excellent condition, all original with no cracks, repairs or restoration, guaranteed as described rarely seen civil war era papier mache doll head only.
