Offered for sale is an antique bisque boy doll on a leather body with bisque arms. The doll is 18 inches tall with brown paper weight, stationary eyes. It has molded and painted hair with a side part. The mouth is closed. The neck is stationary. It is nicely dressed in a white cotton two piece, belted suit with braid trim and navy blue buttons. It has newer shoes. The body is tinted pink and is fully jointed. The body is nicer than bodies I have seen with this head, so it might not be the original, but the head fits very nicely. The doll is not marked on the head nor body. This doll is often referred to as the American School Boy. The head and the body are in beautiful condition with nor damage nor issues.
