18.5 Rare Antique German Bisque Doll Dep By Simon And Halbig

Made for French market DEP C model 18.5 47 cm. , beautifully dressed Bisque socket head, dark blue glass stationary eyes similar to French Jumeau eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with accented lips, 4 porcelain upper teeth, impressed dimple on her chin, pierced ears, blonde French human hair wig in long ringlet curls, adorned with cameo earrings and pin set, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent with no chips or cracks to her head and only few wig pulls, body repainted. Her silk dress has some stains. Marks: C S&H DEP. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Gorgeous cabinet size doll and ready for display!
