RARE Vintage EUROPEAN GERMAN AMERICAN GIRL BARBIE Bend Legs PINK SKIN #1163
This listing is for a RARE Vintage. German Pink Skin American Girl Bendable Leg Barbie #1163. Wearing her original tagged swimsuit. This doll was never available in the US, so here is your opportunity to own one of the rarest vintage Barbie’s of all time! The doll has beautiful medium brown hair that is still soft, silky, and shiny with no missing plugs or trims but does need to be restyled. Her face paint and makeup are all original and look absolutely beautiful, with cheeks that have retained plenty of blush. Her complexion is drop dead gorgeous and is still very peaches’n cream. She has a minor lower lip rub and two tiny pinpricks on each ear but no green ear, stains, or neck splits whatsoever. The tip of her nose has lightened a little. Nail polish is 50% present on her left hand but have faded on her right. There is a small dent on her inner left arm just underneath her armpit. It’s hidden and not noticeable unless you were specifically looking for it but thought I would mention. Ee 7th and 11th photo. There are some pin pricks on both feet — see photos. Overall, her legs are a bit dirty. And there is a slight musty smell. From years of storage, so it could use light cleaning. This doll is unique and different from its American counterpart because A her jaw is more square than the typical TNT or Standard Straight Leg, and B she is on a pink skin bendable leg American Girl body with the correct markings, not the tan skin body nor a pink skin TNT body. Finally, her swimsuit is still in great condition with the B&W Barbie (R) tag and the Japan tag still intact. This one is in really good conditions but shows some playwear. There are some light spots on coat and dress but really tiny ones. Also does the brocade fray a bit.
