Offered is a fantastic 19 Early Antique Bisque German Closed Mouth Doll. This is a 101 K Star R Kammer Reinhardt Doll. She has blue painted eyes, single stroke brows and no marks or rubs on her face or cheeks. Her closed mouth face is beautiful. She is marked KR 101. Her original ball jointed body is in great condition with her original paint. She is dressed in an old sweet pink and white dress, slip, panties, pink stockings and antique shoes. Very minor wear from age including a few minor wig pulls on the back. No cracks, chips, or hairlines. Beautiful early all original Closed Mouth German 101 Doll. DON’T HAVE BUYERS REGRET. I did not list much for quite awhile, as I was his caretaker. He and I were great collectors of many things. PLEASE NOTE I HAVE ADDED UPS TO ALL MY LARGER AND HEAVIER LISTING FR CHEAPER RATE. I have owned this doll for at least 35 yrs, hard to part with, but need new home before too late. Please study pictures carefully. She has been moved numerous times, but packed for the last 7 years. Gorgeous in every way. Pate removed, in order to stuff head for safe travels. Wig was never glued on. When I went to photo her, I saw for first time, tiny, light hairline on back of head. See 3 pics that show this. Where my thumb is, is where it ends. She has no wax eyelids, but never bothered me, as she was always behind glass, standing, so didn’t show. Beautifully dressed, shoes missing soles. Very fine tulle on bodice and down front panel has some missing, etc. It looks like her only mark is on the lower end of her deep shoulder plate. Looks like a capitol “N”. Some have told me possibly Kestner, but not sure. These early dolls are so charming, with there perfect hand painted features, turned head and closed mouths. Probably my favorite bisque dolls. She has lovely bisque hands. Please give her a good home. Please see my other auctions and keep watching. I have many vintage treasures from my lifetime. Please read all of description. The pictures are part of the description, so please view all. I will be happy to answer any questions I can, or send additional pictures. Wait for my invoice that will include this. I have a smoke free, pet free home, but I can’t guarantee they didn’t come from a home that did. I will mention if I can smell something bad. Lovely 18 Early Closed Mouth German Kidskin Shoulder Head Doll in White Dress

A great choice for collectors and lovers of Early German dollies, this sweet-faced girl is sure to please! While it is difficult to know for certain, as any marks on the lower part of the shoulder plate are hidden by her kidskin body, we feel this girl is a Bahr & Proschild, an early mold. She’s trussed up in a cute antique costume, with festive spring flowers in her hair, and is bound to make someone smile! She has a bisque closed dome shoulder head with expert modeling and crisp detailing. Her set blue glass eyes are framed by painted upper & lower lashes, and thick brown feathered brows. She has a closed mouth and pierced ears. She wears a soft brown mohair wig, styled in tight ringlet curls. She stands at 18 tall on her antique gusseted kidskin body with bisque lower arms. This girl wears a darling white cotton dress, with inset lace on the bodice and sleeves and large tucks above the hem. Underneath, she wears a white cotton full slip with small tucks, inset lace, featherstitching, and lace trim on a flounce at the hem. On her feet, she wears white knit socks and tan leather shoes. She has pink and white flowers in her hair, and orange and goldtone earrings in her ears. The bisque shoulderhead is free of hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration. The painting is excellent and the modeling is crisp and detailed. Her bisque arms are in excellent condition, with only a couple pepper spots. The antique kidskin body is in good condition. The gusset joints at both hips and the left arm have been patched. The rest of the kidskin has some minor age-related wear. Please view all the photos, thanks for looking.
