Antique German 27″ Kley & Hahn “The Dollar Princess 70 Bisque Head Doll. She has a bisque socket head with her original blue glass sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, brown multi-stroke brows, and an open mouth with four upper teeth. She wears antique cotton dress with gorgeous belt, strawberry blonde replacement wig and a lovely bonnet, she stands 27 tall on her original antique fully-jointed wood and composition body with original factory finish. MARKS: The Dollar Princess 70 made in Germany. The bisque is excellent, with no hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration. She has an overall pleasant face and great modeling of features. The eyes sleep well, with good pupil alignment. The body has minor expected age wear. Her costume is in great condition. Overall, a sweet antique doll to fill out any collection, large or small! This is a lovely PRINCESS ELIZABETH DOLL made by PORZELLANFABRIK BURGGRUB. Her head is marked PORZELLANFABRIK BURGGRUB. PRINCESS ELIZABETH 61/2, Made in Germany DRGM. I believe she was made around 1929 in honour of Princess Elizabeth (now our Queen). She has blue glass sleep eyes and retains a few eyelashes. She has a well painted face with an open mouth and 4 teeth. There is a small rough patch just below her jawline mentioned for accuracy please study the last photo. She is on a baby/ toddler body. Alittle gesso loss around arm sockets, leg sockets, alittle at the top of one leg and the heel of one foot. She has all her fingers and all her toes. She measures approx 58 cms tall. She wears a very old petticoat which has attached pants and what I think is her original dress with newer shoes and socks. Please study all photos. Antique German 25 Kley & Hahn The Dollar Princess Special 62 Bisque Head Doll
This pretty doll has unique facial expression. Her sleepy eyes with real lashes work well. The eyelashes are a little worn, but still in good condition considering the age. The doll has light paint rub on in the face and some mold imperfections: to the right corner of the mouth and on the right cheek. No other imperfections were noticed. Beautiful human hair wig is original. It is tightly glued to the head. Her composition body shows normal wear, including cracks, paint imperfections, splits, and small chips. Overall condition is ok. The doll is wearing very pretty, vintage outfit that fits her perfectly. The cape is a separate piece from the dress. It is decorated with vintage clips. Socks and shoes are included. Antique All Bisque Kestner Bonn Doll 83 100 Original In Box Princess 6 3/4
Antique All Bisque Kestner Bonn Doll marked 83 100 and still in her original marked box. The doll is in great condition with no chips or cracks. She has brown sleep eyes, her original blonde mohair wig with original pink ribbons. Her mouth looks closed with white space inside to look like teeth, there is a tiny slit under her teeth. She is clean and does not look like anyone played with her or even made a dress for her. She is 6 3/4 tall with cute chubby body, bent arms and jointed legs with painted socks and Mary Jane one strap shoes. She fits perfectly into her original marked 83 100 box marked Made In Germany. She does have the usual factory kiln flecks, one on lower cheek and one on side forehead covered with her wig. The original paper and packing cardboard in still inside to protect her. 22 Antique German Bisque Head Doll Schoenau & Hoffmeister Princess Elizabeth. In 1929 the director of Schoenau & Hoffmeister, Curt Schoenau gave a photo of 3 year old Princess Elizabeth to the companys sculptor, Caesar Schneider. The doll was only produced for a short period of time. Supposedly the monarchy would not endorse the doll because she appeared stocky to them. She is a very rare and beautiful doll. Beautiful doll on a gorgeous toddler body. She has all her fingers and toes and no damage that I can see. There are a few small holes in her antique clothing but it is also in excellent condition. Her wig is a modern human hair replacement. The cameo is an antique shell cameo marked sterling. My spaghetti poodles Max and Oscar are not included. Thank you for looking! Please visit our store.
