Antique Dolls German

This doll is looking differently from many other antique china dolls. Her hairstyle is not one of the commonly used styles for china dolls. But what is more interesting is the expression on her face. Her eye color is more grayish and not blue as more often we can see on china dolls. This unique doll had incident in the past and her shoulder plate was once broken but someones caring hands glued her. The broken part is almost entirely hiding under the dress, just a small part is visible on the side of the head (Please see pictures). The lower china arms look good, however the edge of one of them is rough. There is a small line on the forehead of the doll that feels like a light crack. The doll is coming with stand that is very old and show wear. The lower part of the legs is cloth. Very Rare German Bisque Googly, #8556 by Gebruder Heubach. This rare find Character Googly doll measure 13 33 cm. Solid domed bisque socket head with rounded face and very full cheeks and chin, sculpted light blonde hair with defined topknot, forelock curl and side curls. He has large googly eyes with deeply-intaglio-sculpted side and down-glancing googly eyes, painted red and black thin upper eyeliner, angled brows, tiny rounded nose, unusually-shaped mouth with shaped and dimpled lips. Composition and wooden ball-jointed body, and nicely costumed. The condition is generally excellent, with no hairlines, cracks, broken or missing to the bisque, the head is perfect. The body has some little missing paint in the left hand, and a little miss paint in the right shoulder. Marks: 8556 Heubach (in square) Germany 6. This adorable Kestner Googled eyes girl doll is in great condition. Unique and hard to find googled eyes doll has all her clothe complete. Dress, bonnet, shoes, socks, is all original. This irresistible baby girl measure 12 30 cm. Very nicely done her pink dress, hat and complete out feet is all original, and in good condition. Marks in the back of the head: made in Germany JDK 221 Ges Gesch. She has nice rosy cheeks and an orangey red open mouth displaying four pretty white teeth. Her vintage shoulder length curly blonde wig looks wonderful with her old fashion dress! CLOTHING Our pretty girl is wearing a lovely handmade antique style dress designed with a pale blue striped fabric. Her old-fashioned dress has a low waist and is embellished with lace trim and a pretty ribbon at her neckline. Her newer full slip has rows of pintucking and is also trimmed in lace. She is wearing vintage white socks and black shoes. She has a newer blue straw hat that complements her blue dress. Her hat is held on with a pearl hat pin. BODY She has a fully jointed 11-piece wood and composition body. Her arms and legs can bend at the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hips and knees. SIZE Our charming doll measures about 24 inches tall. Her doll stand is included in the sale. Doll is quite lovely! Her bisque face and gray blue sleep eyes are very pretty and her smile charming. Her composition body looks good and has most likely been repainted. There is some wear in the composition near her hip joints and her teeth may have been replaced (see photo #8).
